50in LED bar, how are you routing the wiring into the cab?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking into buying a 50 curved Led bar but I'm not sure how to rout the wiring into the cab from up top, any advise?

I already have a 30" inside of my grille and ran the wiring through the firewall but I don't want to drill any other additional holes if I don't have to.

I got a 50" curved led as a gift.

Sadly I picked the RC mounting brackets and not what I expected.

Great quality material and easy to install but the noise is ridiculous. U might as well drive with the windows down its just as loud. I contacted RC but never got a response.

I did a test run with 1/2 plastic tubing that I picked up in the plumbing section at your local Home Depot.

10' for $10 bucks it was worth a try.

Fixed the problem 100%.

Sounds like I did before I installed the brackets.

Quiet.

As for wiring I put an inline fuse and a key fob. Didn't feel like routing wiring and drilling holes on the truck. Here are a few pics of what I used and what the test run looked like. Looking for black 1/2 tubing now.
