Light bar placement

Recommended Posts

I'm new to this fourm and I have 1 question. Has anyone attempted to add a light bar infront of the grill on a 14+?

I like the look of your set up Jordan, I think I saw a post with your truck and details on the steps you took to get your light behind the grill. Please share the link to the details. Thanks. I'm looking forward to adding lights to my 2015.

Can you get a few pictures close up of it and how it mounts to the hooks? And what size light bar did you fit to that because the site says only up to a 9" bar...

Thanks so much. I did some small customization to fit a 40" Rigid light bar. Utilized a Rigid Industries cradle mount on top of the N-Fab light bracket.

Sorry don't have access to photos for you but can answer that the N-Fab bracket mounts to the inside frame rails and the tow hook bolts hold it in place.

Probably wouldn't be to hard then to fit a 30" one on the n fab mount as long as you can line it up with the holes?

N-Fab did come out with a newer version of my light bar bracket called there mulit mount instead of tabs for mounting lights they use channels that give you more mounting options.

It was asked earlier for a closer up picture. I had to go back to some older photos, since changing and painting my plastic bumper inserts it gets hard to see the mount in photos.

Do you have any advise on how to install this easier? I have a very similar bar to yours from NFab and its proving to a massive pain to install because of the supports behind the front bumper. I'm having a very difficult time getting the bolts to go back through the holes
