2002 2500hd tow/haul

my tow haul doesn't work so I checked for the common broken wires but it all looks good. is it common for the switch in the end of the handle to go bad? any other suggestions?

have you tried unplugging it's harness and testing that the circuit completes with a multimeter when you push the button?

Looks can be deceiving so I agree with above, check the wires with a multimeter to verify power is going where and when it should.
