Pic Request for 275/60/20 vs 275/65/20 BFG KO2

Recommended Posts

Just went through this same battle. Couldn't decide between the 2 tire sizes, but definitely happy with the choice I made.

So what I'm trying to figure out here is all those with 14 - 16 model years seem to have the aluminum control arms and no issues with a modest level and 33 inch tire such as 275/60/20.   BUT, it seems that 2017  & 2018's get the stamped steel control arms and have issues with this.

I really want to get a set of 275/60/20 BFG KO 2's but am hesitant now hearing all the issues people have been having with the 2017 and 2018's.  Last thing I want to do is to spend $1500 on new tires only to find out they rub.

I'm in a 2018...I had a 2016 and had no issues.  Wasn't aware I had to worry about this now.
