Programmers

I have a 2000 gmc 7.4l K2500 gas and I was wondering if there was a programmer or chip that will give the truck a noticeable increase in performance. My dad got a BullyDog GT Platinum Diesel for his 06 Duramax. The truck is noticeable fast and way on fuel. Anyone know what I can use for my truck?

not so much to upgrade for the computer on that one.

I am interested in those engines..

 

2 inch intake valve on the big motor, d-port exhaust..

..throttle body a bit too small.

 

I would go hot rod sizing in those areas first. The computers are fantastic to begin with, just feed the size a bit more.

 

I have an L30 at or near 300hp...looks exactly factory. But the heads and proportion, makes it big by factory.

 

the 454 is starving.

you could do little things, equal up the plug wires, find an oversized throttle body...there is some things out there.

 

that one would love headers...big ones.
