Is the aftermarket throttle body worth it?

Recommended Posts

so would a 6.2 throttle body directly bolt on to a 5.3 intake ?

what would better a after market throttle body or a 6.2 throttle body?

From my understanding you would need to swap the intake manifold to run the 6.2 throttle body.

Sorry for the double post but i found this on PT.net

These guys are taking LT1 corvette intakes and putting them on our trucks. Seem to need little modification to work but seems to net some gains

I installed the 6.2 truck manifold and throttle body on my 5.3 truck and tuned... slight bump in power.

Think thats what im going to end up doing. The LT1 intake takes some modding to get it to work and i dont feel that confident in myself to do it to a truck that im making payments on lol
