Prior to your new Sierra/Silverado, what were you driving?

Recommended Posts

I was daily driving my Camaro SS, now that is my weekend warrior and the Z71 is my daily. This is my first nice truck, before the Camaro I had an 06 GTO, then a 79 Trans Am Bandit and at the same time a 93 GMC Sierra stepside beater

came from a 2002 GMC Sierra ext cab to the 2014 Silverado. Best vehicle have ever had, wish I hadn't traded it in. Driving this truck compared to the 02, it's a little bigger and the front end drops off. So I sometimes leave too much space when I park it in a spot..ha...

Before that....

1994 Chevy Silverado RC

1986 Chevy Monte Carlo

I buy myself a new vehicle every decade.. :D

What is your wheel/tire setup on your new truck?

17x8.5 vision manx wheels with 0 offset, and in this picture I was running 285/70/17, but I've recently changed to 285/75/17s. They are almost 2 inches taller now. The tires I'm currently running are toyo open country extream all terrain

I've always had full size Chevy trucks. First truck was an 86 Chevy C10 Custom Deluxe with a manual "granny" transmission. Then went to a 98 Silverado Z71 and now my '14 Z71. I seem to always make big step ups so maybe my next one will be a 2500 crew cab gasser (no need for a diesel).
