Traded 15 LTZ Duramax for 16 Denali 6.2

Recommended Posts

Not sure if I downgraded or upgraded, I suppose it depends on your perspective. I turned over the plowing duties at my business so no longer had a need for a 3500 Duramax. I finally hit a point where a nice ride was looking more appealing. My wife complained frequently about the ride in the 3500 which was hard to take given the 60k price tag. The Denali with MRC rides very nice and so far glad I made the change. The 6.2 is impressive and will easily tow my 4 place enclosed trailer and boat.

I have the power running boards and so far am not a fan. They're neat but the truck doesn't sit high enough to really need them imo and they almost get in the way when getting in and out. I have them turned off for now. The rear mode is nice for drying the back window and rear part of the roof after washing it though. The new lights on the Denali are awesome, big time improvement over my Chevy lamps.

Congratulations on the new rig! If your happy with the 6.2 it's no downgrade. I absolutely love the smooth, soft ride in my truck. It's by far the nicest vehicle I've ever owned.

Congrats!! I test drove the 2500 Dmax and then hopped out and drove the 1500 Denali. That made my decision very easy as that 2500 rode like a rock and my 1500 pulls everything I have easily.

I bet you'll use those running boards when it comes time for the lake, also it saves the door sills as the factory aluminum Denali sill plates are easily dented & more importantly using the running boards helps keep A-hole passengers from sliding out of the seats, man of all the things that one really ticks me off.

post up some pics, mine is here in the local area, waiting for the dealer to process it and waiting on April's incentives fingers crossed.
