2016 Transmission Bulletin 16-NA-019

I had my 2016 6.2 Denali in for a problem with the Driver Assist system, and I asked them to look at the transmission for the hard shift when coming to a stop. They performed this Bulletin. I've only driven it about 15 miles since the update was done, but so far, no hard shifts. That being said, it only happened once in a while, so i wouldn't definitively say this made a difference yet.

Another re-learn procedure....

I am on my 4th relearn and a new torque converter. It is still acting up.

We need to be emailing GM on this. I went in for the bulletin and it was still acting up. I emailed GM and was contacted by a rep. In turn my dealer called me a day later to have me come in again. We went for a test drive and it happened just not as hard. The senior tech explained that there is really nothing more that they can do, and I believe them, because it's a program issue. Although it is a known issue we need to rattle some cages at GM to get the damn TCM programed right.

We need to shit, piss, and moan as much as possible.

Did the update make things WORSE for any of you? My truck isn't that bad.. but since I'm taking it in for other things I figured I would have them do this? I just don't want the update to make things worse..
