Aftermarket radio

Okay so i bought a 95 silverado tbi. Has an aftermarket radio in it and it well sucks and im to stupid to be able to understand those types of radios i really just prefer the stock radios. I thought easy just buy stock again from the junkyard or something but my buddy says i cant do that with that style of radio so im just curious if i can do it.

It had a stock radio in it before the after market. As long as they didn't cut the factory wiring it should be easy... If the did just cut the pigtail out of the truck and the wrecking yard
