I love my truck :)

Since its always a nice change of pace to see positives on here, I thought I'd give this a little go. I ordered my truck a year ago march and picked it up in may. Haven't had a single serious issue and every time I get in it, its like the first time. No vibration, not a single recall, and only had one issue with filling it with gas which was easily solved by a new filler hose. I should mention, I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 Double Cab WT Blackout Edition 5.3L, 3.42 gears, 4X4.

Last night, I changed over my winter rims and put the summer boots back on as well as installed the GM accessory Borla Exhaust (hope to get vids this weekend to post for you guys.) Now my trucks got the badass blackout look with a great sound to go with it. I wasn't looking for anything too extreme and after driving around last night, the thing is perfect for what I was looking for. Nice and throaty when on cold start up and when you put your foot into it and nice and quite when you're cruising down the road. As much as I loved it before, its like I fell in love all over again.

That's my little story, if you guys love your trucks and are passionate about it, give your story. We need more positive posts. They're a great read. Have a great day everyone!

It is easier to be positive when you have not had any problems. I really like my truck (4 silverados in a row 82,92,02, and now my 14) but being a 14 it has been in for a bunch of computer update recalls, vibrations at interstate speeds, a few squeaks and rattles, and now my hitch has to be replaced. None of these things are enough to make me trade for another new GM model or one from the competition but it does get annoying having to take off work to go to the dealership every few months. The positive side is that this is the most powerful truck I have ever owned and drives like a dream (when not on the intestate) and has the best interior of any of the brands IMO.

I totally understand that and I'm sorry for the issues you've had with recalls and whatnot, that's not what I started this thread to be about. There are a lot of people out there that do genuinely love their trucks and have been problem free and I'm simply trying to get their story as well rather than have every thread go back to an issue. Use to be you couldn't have a single thread on here without someone bringing up all the issues they've had. I'm not unsympathetic to the people that have had issues, I work at a GM dealership so I see it every day and am very thankful my truck has been as good as it is. Just trying to get more positive out there with so much bad :)

I love my truck, no issues , putting more miles on it than I planned too, but I am confident in the 5.3 being able to handle many years ahead.

I really like my truck and this is why I joined this forum. I get to talk to people who share my enthusiasm. I bought my first pickup truck in 1972 and my current 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 encompasses all of the features I have learned to want in a pickup. (4x4, Crew Cab, Standard box, 6cyl engine, SLE c/w leather). I would have chosen the same with a truck type standard transmission if they were available! This forum does offer a lot of support and you need to sift through some of the venting.

I love my truck. Took it a few times to the dealership for fixes but overall the truck has been great to me. So much that I have been reluctant to trade it in if it would come to that.

I wish I had some other features and wished gmc did a better job with somethings instead of short changing it. But I love the design and driving the truck. I can see it be with me for a long time and the design will hold for a long time as well.

I just got a 2014 Silverado WT Double Cab 4x4 two weeks ago. Its my work truck and only has 23K miles on it. I absolutely love it so far. It gets lots of highway miles and a few hard lease road oilfield miles. It's been a couple of years since I drove a truck. Last truck was a 2011 Silverado 6.2L 4x4. But man this truck drives good!

You're right about the need for positive Posts, I have no doubt there's an agenda for some of them.Just look at how much effort is put into trying to convince others how bad something is. The only consultation is that it's on every Brand Forums.

But enough of that, like yourself I really love my truck and I'm not easy to please! I've been all over this thing and have found absolutely NOTHING wrong with it! My last 400 mile average was over 23MPG and I wasn't babying it. It " the 5.3"has enough power to lay down two strips of rubber if that was something I wanted to do and is as quick in the old SS Silverado in the 1/4 mile and gets WAY better gas mileage than the SS did and I always liked those trucks! Now the 6.2 is just a pure animal!!

This truck might just be the best riding vehicle I've ever experienced, it's solid and firm without being harsh and it's super quite. I actually look forward to the long rides to hunting camp.

I work hard for my money so buying a new truck for me was a big deal. So I tested the others and honestly it was an easy choice, the Ford was the closest with the toyota being far behind. When I walk out to the parking lot after a day's work I really like what I see, the GMC would have been the only other option!

I love my wife; I love my children; I like my truck.

If I become annoyed with my wife or children; I deal with it. If I get annoyed with my truck (or any other vehicle for that matter); it's on the lot the next business day and I'm inside a younger, prettier model that smells great with no regrets.

I love my truck. It's been about a dozen years since I've owned one. Last was a '01 F-150. But gas prices went all the way up to $1.76 and said to hell with this 14MPG hog and got rid of it.

Now I'm thrilled to have $1.76 gas and I'm loving the comfort, convenience, power, and style of my 2015 Sierra.

It nice to see positive post. It does get old sometimes seeing all the complaints. I have no regret buying my 15 Sierra. 7 months & 7400 miles. No problems.

I love my truck. Just rolled over 36K miles. Never had an issue with warranty work or recalls in that the dealership I go to has fixed everything and given me loaner cars to use while my truck as being worked on. Never had an issue with the truck leaving me stranded or disappointed to drive it. The Silverado looks good, gets great mileage for a full size V8 and all my do dads work as designed. I think all around the GM is the the best all around trucks in terms of styling, capability and design vs the others on the market. I plan to keep this until it dies or my needs change.

Thoroughly enjoying mine with no issues at all. Driving back from Atlanta this afternoon I hit a new high last 50 mpg at 27.4 :-). And, the ride was great. It wasn't "Cadillac" smooth but I could not ask better from a truck.

I've had mine since late April of '14 so almost 2 years with about 23,750 miles and still love it. The only problem was the clunk from the rear end but as others had it was just loose u-bolt nuts which I TQed myself and haven't had it clunk since. The only thing I don't like about the truck is the 3.08 gears which will be changed whenever I'm able to.
