How are the roof mouldings attached?

Hi guys, my new 2015 Silverado has a loose drivers side roof moulding. The back part near the rear window is loose and not "stuck on" like it should be. Are these simply just adhered with 2 sided tape? Are there snap fittings? Studs with nuts? I hate to take it in for warranty work if it just takes 5 minutes to fix. Besides, I don't want anyone standing in my bed until I detail it out and get my bedrug in there. Are there holes or any places water can leak in under the mouldings?

Plastic trim retainers that snap onto welded studs in the roof rail. I'd let them do it as its under warranty. Why should you spend the $100 for the part?

I didn't realize the part was that expensive. If it was a simple fix and only took some tape, my time would be worth more than bringing it in. At 100 dollars though I'll have them fix it. So there are holes in the roof and these press down or there are holes in the moulding that press onto studs that stick upright?

Studs welded to the roof. The roof ditch molding has female retainers in it that sit into the studs sticking out in the roof ditch.
