What rims are these on this lowered Silverado?

Recommended Posts

I thought the same at first, but cheddars come in a color that is not glossy black. These could have been painted, but I know some one who just had a set of cheddars put on(see pic) and this is the only color offered for them. So the rims on the black Silverado look like 24s or 22s? Trying to decide to go 22s or 24s.post-157208-0-51153900-1461076653_thumb.jpeg

DUB puts on a tinted coat on the face after machining. The wheels are semi- flat black with a tinted coat on the machined face. At the right angle the light makes the machined face appear bronzish-lighter. I own a set of similar DUB wheels.

The drop on the black truck seems to be a 6/9. That would highly likely force you to run a 22' wheel with a useful low profile tire. I would guess the owner is running a 265/35/22 tire.

Thank for the info man- I was a aware that the finish comes of as bronze-ish. I like these wheels and will just get them painted or powder coated glass black. I'm not looking to have as drastic of a drop. 3/5 to start. Trying to decide between 285/22/45 or 285/40/24. Any feedback on ride quality difference between those two?

I personally run a 2.5/5 drop on my double cab. I also run 22 inch wheels. I really love the 305/40/22 but discount tire refuses to mount or service them....I am currently on Gm carbon wheels on 285/45/22. My alternate wheels are a set of dub skillz on 305/40/22. My two set really ride the same...the 45's are a tad taller tire though.

Do you have a photo of your truck with the Skillz?
