Not trying to hijack your thread but what is the real difference in the z71 package and the nht besides the 3.42s. Shocks? Skid plates?

I have not done this yet.. I'm hoping muddkatt would do a how to video and show everyone how it's done.. especially me..

It does throw a check stabilitrak message and the cel comes on, but as soon as you plug it back it they go away. I just have a switch wired inline so I can cut power when I want.

Depends if it's a Sierra or a Silverado - but a lot of Z71 is cosmetic.

Max Trailering Package, includes 9.76" rear axle, 8-speed transmission with 3.42 or 6-speed transmission with 3.73, (JL1) trailer brake controller, enhanced cooling radiator, revised shock tuning for increased control, heavier duty rear springs and increased RGAWR

On SLE - Includes (G80) heavy-duty automatic locking rear differential and Z82 Trailering Package. Requires (L83) 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine and (DPN) outside heated power-adjustable vertical camper mirrors. Includes (PZX) 18" x 8.5" bright-machined aluminum wheels with (RBX/RBW) 18" tires or may upgrade to (RD4) 20" aluminum wheels with either (RC7) or (QSS) 20" tires.
On SLT - With (L83) 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 engine, requires (PZX) 18" x 8.5" aluminum wheels and (RBX/RBW) 18" tires or may upgrade to (RD2) 20" chrome wheels with either (RC7) or (QSS) 20" tires. With (L86) 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine, requires (RD2) 20" chrome wheels with (QSS) 20" tires. Requires (DQS) Outside heated power-adjustable vertical camper mirrors. Not available with (Z71) Off-Road Suspension Package.

Z71 is the only way to get the HDC (Hill Descent control).

(they all have the grade braking and cruise grade braking, which are for when at highway speed. HDC only operates at very slow speeds (between 2 and 14mph)

Picking up the exact truck I ordered tomorrow. Took me 9 weeks to get. I opted out of the sunroof, block heater, steps and mats but got the Bose . The color is amazing. It was worth the wait.

Well, it's not quite the exact truck if it doesn't have the sunroof, block heater, steps and mats... Haha! Congrats though!

I have been looking for months nationwide to try a find one with the max trailer package in deep ocean blue, even used, and it's nearly impossible. That's why I ended up ordering it.

Before leaving the dealership unplug the front wheel sensor on the driver side. Turn off traction control and stability trac. And Don't hold back.. lol jk. Congrats on a well equipped truck. I ordered mine and boy oh boy days seems like weeks. Like muddkatt said post pics

what does removing plug from the front wheel sensor on the driver side do?

Yeah took 9 weeks but should be less now since the 6.2 is off constraint

Don't tempt me - I already have a list as long as can be! What might you suggest?

I've purchased:

1) Husky Liners front, back and underseat storage

2) Weathertech Mud Guards

3) Bakflip G2 Tonneau cover

4) Chemical Guys cleaning products

I am also going to get the front done with Paint Protection Film due to having a painted bumper.

My brother is trying to convince me to go with C Quartz but i don't know if its worth it.
