what does removing plug from the front wheel sensor on the driver side do?

It disables stabilitrak and traction control and prevents them from turning back on at 35mph.

So apparently I am being told I cannot track my truck order on Chevy.com anymore. What's up with that? I always tracked my 2013 Avalanche! Why not now?!

They stopped it on the chat line? I was on their website a few weeks back, and the option was still there.

Except for upholstery color, my 2015 is identical to yours.

Yeup, I'm going to need some more pictures of that beautiful blue, crew cab, standard box and towing mirrors! What color interior?

The interior is gray (I think they call it slate). I am having trouble sending high-quality photos since I am only allowed 1M files. I get compliments all the time on this truck.. The 6.2 goes like hell! I purchased it off of the lot, the dealer had ordered it this way. I'm not sure I'm in love with the transmission, in stop-and-go traffic it can't seem to decide which gear to be in and clunks when I hit the gas. In general it's as quiet and smooth-riding as a car but really bounces off road. I have towed a horse trailer (approx 4,500 to 5,000 pounds) for short distances but would add a load-leveling hitch if I tow more.

Last night I decided to build my truck as a GMC Sierra and I discovered the Sierra is near $700 cheaper, when comparably equipped. What the hell? I just sent an email to my dealer asking him to re-order the truck as a GMC Sierra. I prefer the GMC's styling, honestly. I always thought the GMC would be more expensive.

Well, it's official - I changed my order to a GMC Sierra from the Silverado. The Sierra was cheaper by $950, actually - very odd how it all worked out!

I just received word from my dealer today: my truck has been accepted and has received an allocation for the 6.2L. EXCELLENT!

Any idea what the status code is? Mine is still at 1100.

I've tried the Sierra/Silverado comparison and it's hard to get the options exactly the same. For instance, the 6.2 liter engine is a $2495 option on the Silverado, but you can't get it without also getting the 20" wheels for $1495; meaning that you actually pay $4000 for the 6.2 liter engine. I don't know how that works with the Sierra.

The Sierra comes with red dash instruments and the Silverado's are red and blue. I like the red and blue better.
