OffRoading - What Tire Pressure and Gear? Beach Driving

I was on the beach tonight and wondering what tire pressure guys are running and what gear with 4wd and in High or low.

I was in 4HI with 30psi in my Toyo Open Country RT 33x125. At the end I manually kept it in first gear.

I think next time I am going to air down to 15psi and keep in in 4hi and just in Drive instead of manual 1st gear.

Make them look almost flat and take a portable air tank, I never knew the pressure I ran when I was near a beach nor was it the newer silverado I have now so can't help you with the gear

When I go to Silver Lake Sand Dunes in MI (loose sand) I run around 15psi, some people run less. There is a sign there that recommends a PSI in this range. 4HI should be just fine for riding along the beach. I suppose you could manually select a gear, especially if its hunting a lot. Other, I'd just leave it in D.

In my Avalanche I generally kept it in D unless I was climbing some hills. That was the ol 4 speed tho, not sure how the 6speed works, and haven't taken my 8 speed duning yet.
