CRofMel Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Picking up my 2016 Sierra Denali Ultimate with 6.2 and noise cancellation on Thursday. The dealer is installing the Kicker subwoofer for me before I pick it up. I looked up some reviews on the Kicker sub and it seams that people are having issues with the the noise cancelling trying to muffle out the bass and they fix it by cutting the violet/blue wire to the crankshaft position sensor in the passenger rear door which controls the noise cancellation and seams to solve the problem. I'm having seconds thoughts now on getting the Kicker as I think having the noise cancellation is a nice feature and the factory Bose amp would be adequate. Anybody have any updates on this or a better fix? Thanks.
GMC-AT Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 You are exactly correct. I haven't heard of a better way. Same reason I haven't installed anything in the new 6.2
