Buy? 2014 GMC SLT Z71 with 132K miles

Would you buy a truck that has 132K miles in 2 years?

 

2014 Fully loaded GMC Sierra 5.3L SLT Z71 4wd Cred Cab heated/cooled leather seats. 1 Owner, no rust, clean title, new tires 500 miles ago.

 

Transmission was replaced by dealer at 95K miles (kind of worrying?). Claims mostly all highways miles, hard not to believe that given that is 65K miles/year.

 

Come with extended warranty. Asking $28K.

All that means means nothing to how it runs. Warranties are what 3 year 36k? For 10k more a warranty is worth that minus the 100,000+ miles

I would buy a new 1 for 38,000$ with maybe 50 miles on it and lose some Of the bells and whistles that's not needed and gain 3 years 36,000 miles of warranty and not worry about what it's been through when I buy it.

He's about 10k off the asking price. I paid just a little more than that for mine with 36k. Lol!!

My first thought was that many miles in 2 years, and a replaced trans ... it probably was towing a lot of the time. Engine has been working hard.... $18K is where I'd be at all day long. If they can find someone to pay $28K for that, god bless 'em.

Are transmission issues a common issue on the new generation of trucks? This one needed a new transmission at 95K. I saw someone else on the forum said they needed a new transmission after 60k.

No, the GM six speed is a solid transmission. Still wouldnt pay that much for a truck with that many miles.

NO! I paid a few thousand more than that with only 2k miles. Plus a warranty on the lift that was already on the truck.
