2008 suburban LTZ will not crank

Recommended Posts

I have a 2008 Suburban LTZ. Went out to the garage last night and the key fob would not work. I opened the door and no dome lights, got in and put my foot on the brake to start it and no brake lights. Put the key in the ignition and the thing will not crank. The traction control light, the Service Engine light and the ABS light come on, but it will not crank. Checked the battery and its 100%. The rear gate will not open, cant turn on the dome lights etc.

Any idea what might be causing this?

I checked the fuses on the Drives side of the dash, all test fine. I also checked the fuses under the hood. Everything tests good.

I am at a loss.

Hey ejstave,

I can understand how this situation with your Suburban would be frustrating. I see that you are looking for some input from the forum, but please fee free to shoot me a PM if you want to look into additional options.

Best,
