The original engine was 5.7. I'm doing engine swap to a 305. Will it work. Or what do I have to do different. Or will it run??

Why would you go from a 350 to a 305? As for fuel injection and everything, it should all be the same

The reason why I bought the engine cheap. We took the heads to get rebuilt the one I took out wus a 5.7 We found out.the one I bought is a 305. I was wondering if that 305 will work in it. Will I have trouble with it will it run with no problem or do I have to do something different to make it work I don't have the money for another one engine

305 is the winner 96-98

and 75-95 and...

everything not only works, you get the real heads and unbaffled throttle valve..

have fun.

 

not sure where the 350 fairy tale comes from, it has been a fail since a 60s camaro here.

there is a non-siamese 350 block at blueprint engines, but that is another story..
