So when I put in gear within first few feet of moving there is a single click from under the truck I only can hear it with windows down. Dealer said they didn't hear or find anything wrong

Its the ABS self testing, perfectly normal.

My truck does it as well and has since the day i bought it. For some reason its more pronounced on some trucks more then others.

Mine almost sounds like a small pebble hitting the under side of the body.

Yes exactly what I am hearing I thought was a brake caliper sticking. It only happens when truck has been parked at least an hour

Does this only happen when you start driving, or have you heard it while stationary? When I go down to my garage to get something out of my truck, I'll open the door and hear this metal ping sound. I can't decide if it's the same as yours or maybe the leaf spring bolts needing to be tightened like others talk about.

I only hear it within the first 10-20 of the truck moving never in park

Im actually thinking it may not be abs because sometimes I don't hear a click until driving 100ft. It only happens after truck sits a few hours. It sounds like metal on metal. Dealer said they don't hear it or find anything but I don't think they really look too hard. I guess I will have to wait until something actually breaks.
