Thanks for the update.

How did you disassemble the lid. Do you come in from the bottom portion of the lid or do you pop off the ring around from around the charging pad area to open it up and make the 180 move?

The ring on top stayed in, I took small trim screwdriver and pulled edges of pad back from under ring. The pad sets between the upper ring and the charger mount. Once I got pull out on sides, I just worked it loose all the way around. Once out you can see charger.

OK. Got it. Work the charging rubber pad out from under the ring. I noticed the other day it has movement to the rubber pad. When and if you post pics what does trim screwdriver look like. I have a lot of flat heads and Phillips but I am guessing there is something different.

No just a small flat head will work.... just don't rush it...can nick trim if you do
