I've got a dealership telling me right now GM doesn't offer the supplier discount pricing on LTZs. I call BS on that. Anyone else heard that?

All suppliers discounts are optional by the dealer. They do not have to honor them. If you use a suppliers discount you are leaving a big pile of money on the table. Compair the price online at Laura or Everret and see how much you are leaving on the table.

I'm not saying supplier only, I've had others stack supplier discount with available rebates. Thai specific dealership has one msrp for $57,000 and only selling for $51,000. I told them thats the lowest discount amount of any dealership I've talked to.

BS, GM doesn't restrict the discounts on the trucks are all. As of the last time I looked, only the Corvette Z06 is restricted from any employee or supplier discounts as of now.

Now that is a home run for the sales guy if someone would bite at that price. Just go back to the other dealershop you speak of and let them stack the rebates until at least 12k off then start playing hard ball.

That's BS. The dealer gets the difference in the price when you use the supplier discount. Don't know why they don't want your business.

Go elsewhere. Period.

I just bought a loaded LTZ last week, through the Costco program, and it was supplier pricing, plus stacked incentives, PLUS Costco kicked in another $1000. (Then they add a $1000 Costco card on top of that once you do a quick phone survey.) Of course this was a Costco promotional deal, the "Limited Edition Costco Silverado" that they ran from the spring through May 30th, limited to 5000 built through the program. (Although they still have less than 400 black ones that they used as demo's at Costco stores.) You could pick your color, and whether you wanted 2WD or 4WD and pay the upcharge. Although even that was at supplier pricing. For instance, Siren Red Tintcoat was $495 list, $440-ish cost.

Truck actually went up $93 from when I ordered it on May 27th but the dealer didn't charge it to me. MSRP was over 59K and final price was well under 51K. Plus I still get the $1000 Costco card. ;)

This was the first Costco deal my dealer had ever done. Couldn't buy off the lot at their pricing, have to go to the regular dealer here in Atlanta, Rick Hendrick Chevy, or Rick Hendrick GMC. But for ordering they let me go to my hometown dealer, which I REALLY like. For buying off the lot inventory Costco still gives you supplier pricing, plus incentives, plus I think $500, and still get a $500 Costco card.

Of course it's not just Chevy / GMC through the program... they sell everything, including Certified Pre-Owned. I would NEVER have though it in a million years, but they were the number 2 seller in the country last year, only behind Auto Nation, selling (somewhere I read) over 730,000 vehicles. Talk about hassle free, and a good deal. :)

Of course right now you can get an LT 2LT for 20% off MSRP which is pretty darned strong. Not an LTZ of course, but not bad if you're looking for a 2LT that is. ;)
