2016 1500 5.3 8 speed weirdness

I know all the issues with the 8 speed transmission have been beat up in other threads, but I wanted to know if anyone has noticed this particular weirdness. I pay close attention to my pickup and can pick up on different and strange noises. However, this is a particular noise that is very distinctive and it almost sounds like a power steering pump. But when I place the truck in drive or reverse, you can distinctively hear this noise. At low speeds, backing up or even pulling forward in ant out of the garage I can hear this noise. The noise is also very apparent when I pull the boat out of the lake at the boat ramp. Is this something I should be concerned about and take it back to the dealer for? I have this phobia that if I take it back to the dealer, they will just make it worse than what it was before I take it in. This has happened before with other vehicles I've owned. If any others have noticed this, I'm not going to worry about it. Thanks in advance.

144 views and no reply's. I guess it's time to go to dealer. I wonder if this is an indication of a bad/failing torque converter. Transmissions should not sound like this.

With all the electronics on these things it's hard telling what it could be. I'd try to duplicate the noise for the dealership.
