Chevy tonneau cover warranty

has anyone heard of the vinyl on the gm covers being warrantied. i have one i bought brand new in the box from someone else and after a week or 2 i folded it back and drove it 50 or so miles and it looks like one of the handles pushed up through or somthing.....kind of frusturating, never had an issue with a cover

If sold over the counter they have a 12mo/12k mile warranty. If the guy who originally bought it got it at the time of delivery and was part of his deal then he gets 3yr/36k miles warranty.
