I had my 4.5in Zone lift installed approximately 1,000 miles ago and I noticed within the last week that when I press the brakes, there is a sensation in the floorboard of something moving/shifting and a pop/clunk sound from under near the front.

I took it into the shop that did the lift (great shop with countless of installs under their belt) and they checked everything. They said every bolt/connection that is part of the lift is tight, everything is snug, all the wheel bolts are tight, and they cannot find any reason for it to be making the noise/feeling (they were able to replicate it though). I googled the issue and some one reported it on a 2014 or 2015 and stated it was a loose diff drop bracket, but that seems to be ruled out for my truck.

Any ideas what this could be? The shop thinks it COULD be body mounts as the newer silverados have had problems with the occasionally (their claim). I also thought it may be some sort of drive-line slack with the transmission/transfer case, such as rotational slack which is "caught up" after a downshift when slowing. I recall on my Camaro there was a slight amount of slack in the rear differential which would clank when getting back on the throttle after slowing.

Any thoughts?

My truck is stock and I experienced a similar sensation for awhile.  I mentioned it to my GM service centre at my last oil-change but of course it had stopped doing this clunk and they could not replicate the sound.  However, they have my concern on record and I still have a few months of powertrain warranty remaining.  They advised me to bring my truck back before the warranty expires if I notice it again. (I have and I will)   Your truck is newer than mine so do you have any warranty remaining?   I'd take it in if you do because it may have nothing to do with any modifications.
