2500 to 2500hd conversion

hello thank you for letting me join this forum. I am looking for insight or anyone with experience in converting a 2500 to 2500hd. I have a 2000 2500 ext cab 4x4 with 6.0l 4l80 trans. The frame is rotting and I need to replace it. I found 2 candidates one is 2500 frame the same as mine and the other is a 2003 2500 hd frame. I was told I will have to change front bumper brackets for the hd frame. does anyone know if my cab bed and drivetrain will swap right over onto 2500 hd frame or will there be problems. I have the 5 leaf leaf springs and not sure which rearend. any help is appreciated thanks.
