Does your 6 speed transmission whine in 1st gear?

The 6 speed transmission in my 2016 has a whining noise in 1st gear that gets louder as it is shifting into 2nd but once it is in 2nd the noise goes away completely. This happens every time I take off. I took it to the dealer and they said it is normal. Just wondering if all of the 6 speeds do this since I have never had another vehicle do this.
Not complaining,I love my truck but I plan on keeping it for a long time so I'm just making sure this isn't a problem.

my 2014 does it and also flairs when it shifts to second

I don't have any flair but it does the whine every time I take off. Have you ever had yours checked by the dealer?

Mine does. When we go to the cottage its down a stone/dirt road so we all just idle down it. Some one asked me if my truck was electric it wined so loudly. I thought about cutting the muffler of just for that reason. I have put it in manual mode and just put it in second and all is quiet.

If you own a hydrostatic transmission riding lawn mower, typically the transmission whines all the time. However, the machine makes so much noise that you only hear the transmission whine when you first start out.

This does not mean a truck or car transmission should whine. I have two vehicles with the GM 4 speed automatic and neither whines at any speed.

I have the whine in 2nd and 3 red years. Dealer acknowledged it but says GM currently dosent have a fix. Lol. General morons.

Morons that can't spell or read that the question is about 6 speeds?
