shutterdial
How did you get the fog lights yellow, is it a yellow film you out overtop the light? Edited September 15, 2017 by shutterdial
ChevyRoofer
How did you get the fog lights yellow, is it a yellow film you out overtop the light? Yes he already said that. How's install? Just pop one bulb out and put the other one in?
shutterdial
There shouldnt be any bulbs to change. it should be a led assembly unless he changed the whole fog light assembly.
bdsilverado
Looks like a great light. Nice upgrade. I find these stock ones bright after having a 14 for years. The upgrade bug will come soon enough
Limited360
How did you get the fog lights yellow, is it a yellow film you out overtop the light? Foglamps are just a Lamin-X film. No hardware changes. Yes he already said that. How's install? Just pop one bulb out and put the other one in? Straight forward. Little lever on side of the bulb, slide back from headlamp and out. Unplug connector. Connect to new bulb. Slide in carefully. Lift lever. Done.

x219c
yep. 6500 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sorry, Do you drive a 2500? Reason I ask is this is different than drop in HID bulbs. We have HIDs stock and are just putting in higher wattage bulbs. If you’re using the stock housings from a 16 and up 1500 truck, I apologize. e.torres.ae
With the new projector setup, has anyone used LED’s instead of HID’s? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ChevyRoofer
With the new projector setup, has anyone used LED’s instead of HID’s? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk LTZ/SLT/HC/Denali models come with LED. I don't think I've seen anyone swap from HID to LED or vice versa in 2016+ 1500 models. Limited360
With the new projector setup, has anyone used LEDs instead of HIDs? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk HID @ 35w has more output than the LED lamps... also nobody makes a d5s based replacement... its significantly different in filiment location than any other dXs based bulb.... so challenge there in itself. There is a D2S LED replacement, but it doesnt even compare to a 35w D2S lets lone a 50w version.
