I ordered cyber gray metallic to match the iridium .....don't see it on their current color list

I hate to resurrect an old thread. I was tempted on debadging the Z71 stickers and adding the emblems instead. Now that I see an example of one, that just looks so out of place.

I guess the midnight editions have it in just about the right spot on the doors.

My ‘15 LTZ Z71 had the Z71 on the front doors, and no sticker/anything one side of the bed.

I have a '18 Midnight. With it being all black, red tail lights, and chrome badges, i went with the old "no more than 2 colors" rule and chose black and red. That way i could blend the colors and keep the stock tail lights for uniformity. Replaced all chrome badges and got custom bowties. Replaced the chrome lettering with the "redline" addition lettering. Black, Red and chrome was way to much for me even though it was minimal. Also replaced the black tow hooks with the red.

My ‘18 Midnight Edition has the Z71s on the front doors, too, just like DHaze83. I’m going to blackout the red Zs (grill/doors) when I find my black vinyl or HI gloss paint. May even blackout the 71s, not sure at this point.

That’s the plan. Hopefully, the PlastiDip that I have isn’t bad. Bought some a couple years ago, and the first can I used came out clumpy. If so, I’m going to use them on my 2x12 (for in the bed, re-coating). I’ll most likely go get a new can.
