No drilling/cutting dash mount for a cb radio

Recommended Posts

I have a 1999 Silverado with bench seat. I want to mount my cb where I can still use the controls with out having to open my console or take my eyes off the road for more than a few seconds. I really don't want to drill or cut my dash to mount it. Any ideas are appriciated.

Fabricate a bracket that slips under the two front seat bolts and positions the radio vertically in front of the bench seat. Think of a inverted "7".

There was a guy that built these brackets custom for Dodge trucks, but I can't see where it would be hard to fab something for any model.
