Jeff5347
I'm using the Larry Flynt intake. It improves gas mileage to 38mpDD and reduces sag. Let me tell you how she screams when I romp on her and she occasionally lets her rear end get a little loose. Of the cuff do you what diameter the tube is? Curious if it's the same as the underside of the stock baffled tube. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk It's the same, there is no tapering... the intake manifold side has a straight coupler I believe. MIDNITEZ71
I'm really happy with this Banks Ram Air. just looked on their website, this and the GM performance intake are the only two that are CARB certified. thanks for posting
Waaazooo
Is that true? K&N has a carb certificate number with the intake as well. I would be interested if they are false advertising. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Waaazooo
what does CARB certified mean ? CaliforniaAir Resource Board. Just means it's California compliant. Silveradoh
K&N, had one on my 2011 silverado 5.3L and it sounded great, just put another on my 2017 silverado 5.3L. Nice increase in throttle response, slight MPG increase depending how you drive, and a nice little power boost, plus it sounds great. Never had any problems with the MAF, had my last truck for 90K miles before selling it.
