Battery warning

Still under warranty? If not just wheel by your local auto parts and have them test the battery and charging system. Most will do that for free as they have big plans to sell you the parts.

I did on my 16 when it was 5 degrees outside. Had the dealer check it today when I was in there and they said it checked out fine

Oh man yes do not miss the opportunity to have ALL those little annoying things fixed before your bumper to bumper warranty fizzles out LOL.

Two plus years on the stock battery, it is more than likely almost dead. Definitely check to see if it is under warranty, would not wait long though.

I just went through this. My battery was dying. After 10 min on accessorie i would get the warning. Autozone and dealer both checked it. Both said it was fine... WRONG! So i just bought one. Two weeks on my new battery and all is well. Not sure why it checked out good because it wasnt

My battery died just shy of 2 and a half years. No warning lights, just refused to turn over after sitting overnight. No clicking sound or anything. Unfortunately, my mileage killed the warranty 5 months earlier.

I didn't see any dome lights come on after I replaced it, but I did have my iPod plugged into the USB port. I thought there was a circuit that would take everything except for ignition and starter offline when and if the voltage dropped too low?

I can't believe how hard it was to replace the thing. I had to remove the air cleaner housing, move the radiator overflow, and take out the strut that runs over the top of the battery. Nothing like my 65 Chevy

I got the low battery warning twice before it died for good. I'd only had the truck 11 months and they replaced it under warranty. No problems since.

I was getting that quite a bit until I cleaned the fusible link on the positive clamp.

Has anyone had a low battery warning? It flashed on at startup. Time for a new battery?

Buy a good AGM battery like Odyssey or NorthStar........
