Whels from a 2016 fit a '99 Silverado?

Hey guys, my dad has a 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 2WD all stock, with the 5.3 motor, he wants to get a 4" RC lift and install my stock 17" wheels from my 2016 silverado, the tires are 275/70/17. Shop says the wheels wont clear the in the rear, i believe my wheels are +27 offset.

 

Do you think they will fit with the lift?

 

stock wheels on his 99' are +31 offset, my wheels from 2016 silverado are 17" and +24

according to tirerack, they'll fit without any suspension modifications.

They will fit. I am running 17" take-offs from a 2015 on my 2001.

Thanks muddkatt, i can also confirm that they fit, put them on my Dads truck last night and at the stock stance, they fit just fine, no rub!
