First New Truck. Couldn't be happier.

2017 Silverado 1500 LT Z71.

I love the blue. First real truck (had an S-10 several years ago) and first NEW vehicle. Coming from a Honda Civic, my payment tripled, my gas mileage dropped dramatically, I didn't need it, I wanted it....But at the end of the day, its mine now.

Wish I would have been a little more aggressive with price negotiation, but I got it down to what I thought was a decent deal. Threw in ceramic front tint, and 50% cost of a Line X bed liner....Should have said "No, pay 100% of it." Probably would have happened, but enough dwelling on what is done.

Im happy.

Beautiful Truck! No use looking back. Enjoy

Two years later I still love my truck every time I get in it

Great looking truck, we could always play the "what if" scenarios in our heads all day. I tend to do it often when looking at the new redesigned front end of our trucks! [emoji35]

Hehe be happy you have that at least!

Any pending mods?

Congrats and enjoy!

Had the same feelings you described right after I bought mine, especially after reading this forum about some of the deals people here got. Still, $9500 under MSRP isn't terrible in my case. Almost a year later, still loving my truck as much as the day I got it.

Attitude is everything.

You bought it because you liked it and wanted it and that is all that matters. Don't fret about a few nickels one way or the other, or reading statistically insignificant posts of complaints. There are no design defects in these trucks; otherwise every one of them would exhibit the same defect. And a welcome update in seat comfort and lighting since the mid model '16 changes & Z fronts look mean.

Mine runs as smooth today as it did a year ago and the only time it saw a dealer was for the mandatory State safety inspection.

It's all about the value you perceive, not really whether you beat some "deal."

The title says it all. The damn truck looks awesome! Congratulations. Enjoy.

Congrats on the new truck!

My wife is jealous! You got the color she wanted. When I bought mine, the deal they had was on a red on. So, red it was.

Welcome to our chevy family! I wasn't much of a truck guy at first, my dad gave me his 98 Ford F-150 for work and I always had the feeling that the truck was going to die on me at any time.. [emoji23]

Took my 2011 chevy Camaro traded for a 2015 silverado and I loved it. My 3 year old and my 2 year old have so much room in the back. Just love my truck.![emoji1303]f66fe6a93ecc7bc2790deb008d7d376a.jpg

Appreciate all the kind words fellas! Only "mods" I'm looking at are good quality floormats, which are en route, and am looking into ceramic tint on the windshield to protect the interior. Anyone have experience with windshield tint and did it make a big difference? Being the biggest gateway for sun to get into the vehicle I am curious to know if it is worth it.

Kind of did the same thing you did, sold my Camaro and traded in my Cadillac because I do a lot of hand on house/yard work and camping plus I have 2 kids and I was always struggling with room so I figured why not get my first truck. Doesn't hurt that I live in the Western NY snow belt where we get feet at a time and now planning on buying a trailer. First truck and couldn't be happier as well! Don't think I'll ever go back to a car.

Congrats OP on the purchase, glad you like it!
