2016 plus headlight re-aiming after lift or level

Recommended Posts

When I first got my level put in I keep having people shine their high beams at me at night, I thought it was just because my headlight are so bright to being with.

I soon found out from my boss how to lower your projectors just so people that don't know how to change the position I see a lot driving around. here is a video

Atleast you corrected the issues, some people just like to naturally blind the rest :\

Yep should be the same. Even the fog are adjustable.

Just look for the white adjuster might have a hole in plastic (hood protector)

You'd think the manual would mention.

I know. I'm surprised the level instructions don't say to do it either

I leveled my 2015 but never adjusted the headlights. Didn't need to since they're so damn dim. WTF was Chevy thinking? It's like I have a squirrel in each headlight holding a candle.

Adjusting your headlights back down isn't done for you, it's done to prevent blinding oncoming traffic.

I still need to adjust mine, I'm guilty of blinding oncoming traffic since I leveled mine a while back. Good think I don't have the LED lights yet! If it's not raining when I get home I might do it today.

I've been blinding people for a little over a year.

I wondered about adjusting the headlights, but kept forgetting. Then this past week it's been foggy as hell, and I turned my brights on to see how far out of whack they were. Turned out that they were way off. I could light up the treetops.

I'm going it have to get out this weekend and see what I can do about correcting it.

The fog light for 16+ Sierra and Silverado are adjustable? How do you go about doing so?

If you go under your truck and look at the fog light housing they too have the white adjuster. Same one as the headlights
