2004 1500 Crew Cab

This will be a true 1/2 ton crew cab to compete with Ford's popular Supercrew I guess. It will have a 143.5 in. wheelbase and a 225.9 in. overall length.

That's the same wheelbase as a ext. cab truck with a regular bed and 10 in. shorter than a Crew cab with a regular bed. A 5'8" box alows this.

If you have been wanting a Z-71 Crew Cab, here ya go!

It says the 5.3 will be 295 hp. I thought Chevy was only boosting output to 290 for 2004. I'm not complaing, though.

And, of course, there will be the required, "what are they thinking, keeping that ugly front end"...
