2017 Sierra, biggest tires I can run?

Recommended Posts

On my 2014 All Terrain with OE 20's and Bilstein 5100 set at max height had 295/55/20 Toyo AT2s. No rub on fender liner just slight rub at full lock on sway bar.

Accidentally reported your comment, any way I can undo it? Anyways would you be able to post a pic of the setup you are running now? And would you think a 305 would fit with the bilsteins turned up on stock wheels? Thanks

Guess I will know who to blame when they ban me from the forum. LoL

305's in a BF Goodrich KO2, Cooper AT3, Toyo AT2, Nitto Terra Grappler or similar should work but will rub more than my old 295's. Toyo MT/RT, Goodyear Duratrac, Nitto Ridge Grappler, Cooper STT Pro and similar tires will rub more since they run larger.

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately they dont make the duratracs in a 295. This is the tire Im going with as I have used them on all my trucks before and I can get them cheaper then any other tire at a dealer near me. If at all possible I want to run a 305. I find a 285 would be too narrow. Do you think I should order a 1" spacer lift to be on the safe side? I know it defeats the purpose of having bilsteins on the truck to improve ride quality but dont want to buy the tire and end up putting it on to find it rubs too much. What do you think?

Nice setup @pbudde18! A 285/70/17 measures 32.7x11.2 while a 305/55/20 measures 33.2x12 so it looks like Im going to have the get that 1" block. Shouldnt affect the ride quality that much as long as I stay below 2.5 inch of lift hey?

The LT tread on these is taller, Falken lists them as 33x11.6 who knows really.
