Service 4wd light

My truck keeps getting message service 4wd. Just changed the fluid on it. Still happen. Could it be the actuator or something else?

Don't know what model/year your truck is but there is a software problem with some that cause a DTC to set and the Service 4WD message to be displayed. The truck also "locks" in 4Hi and cannot exit this mode until the DTC has been cleared.

 

There is a service update which consists of reprogramming the TCCM. See this...

When it was serviced, it might need its codes cleared, or maybe it’s not put together right and sensors are indicating an issue.

Get it looked @ ASAP
