Nice truck! You definitely have plans for it. I'm assuming you have the dreadful chevy shake which in return is giving you that vibrations and those speeds.

Indeed I do. Really bothers me, planning on taking it to a performance or drivetrain shop to hopefully find a fix.

Hello everyone! I just ordered the switches for my LED cubes, and I went ahead and pulled the trigger on some RGB interior lights to put in the foot wells. If any of you request it, I can include links as well as pictures to how I wired everything!

Update: installed the RGB lights for the foot wells last week, no issues so far. I can include a link upon request. Still figuring out how I’m going to wire everything so it’s mainly hidden without taking apart the whole interior.

Have yet to install my flowmaster. Hope to install it soon, though. Next serious mod up after that is lift kit and 33s.

Hey there would definitely like to see how  the foot well lights turned out and see the install. Thanks.

Hey there! Sorry for the late response, I’ve been super caught up. I’ll try to get a little picture collage within the next couple of days!

Good afternoon everyone, hope y’all have had a wonderful weekend. I know it’s been a little while since I posted anything but with college classes starting I’ve been quite busy. Since I last posted on this thread, here’s what got done to the truck:

- Rough Country 3.5” spacer lift with UCAs (I’ll provide pictures soon)

- 3”/4” Fedar matte black exhaust tip

- 3rd catalytic converter was deleted

- I tinted the cargo lights as well as the reverse lights

- I also painted the Chevy logo on the steering wheel, so instead of gold and chrome it’s black and chrome... looks so much better!

Not much got done, but I’m happy with the progress I’ve made.

In in terms of the engine noises, I’m still suffering from the ticking and that whine. After my last visit to the dealership, it was narrowed down to the vacuum pump. I’m not sure if the whine is also being caused by that too, but I won’t know until I replace the pump. I’m planning on adding some sound deadening material in the engine bay to help with the noise. (So if anyone has any insight to this, please respond... I’d love to know more about it)

Next I have planned for the truck is to remove my flowmaster 40 series original. I’m simply not happy with the way it sounds in higher RPMs, so I’m going to go straight pipe for now. If it “claps” too much since my third cat was deleted, I’m putting my 3rd cat back in and just having a muffler/resonator delete. I also plan to actually get my tail lights lightly tinted with the reverse and cargos clear, I’m really digging that look.

If if anyone has any suggestions or input, feel free to leave a reply below! I’d love to hear what the community has to say!

Put the cat back in and run a small muffler.  Straight pipe with 3rd cat delete is going to sound sloppy if you understand what im saying

Hey man! I just removed the flowmaster yesterday. It kinda claps a bit but I like it, it's not that annoying clap. I've been encountering some issues as of today with some kind of trembling from the engine, so I might have to clamp on my 3rd cat if I need to go to the dealership.

I have a 2022 Silverado 1500 four-wheel-drive. The dealer ordered the 2 inch lift kit they offer and I’m waiting for it to come in and have it installed. But I noticed that the kit doesn’t come with upper control arms. Is that going to be a problem?

      (***UPDATE*** )

so I had the factory lift gm offers installed. When I picked it up, it looked great but as soon as I went to drive it off the lot. I could tell something was wrong it felt completely different. I figured it was just a break in period. But even after a day or two, I was getting crazy bad vibration at low speeds. Took it back. They ended up putting one of the U-bolts on wrong (I have pictures if wanted) they fix that and told me the vibration was gone. I get my keys go to drive away vibrations right back. I turn right back around. this time they have a mechanic ride with me. He clearly hears  an feels a vibration, says somethings wrong so we turned around and he takes it back in. Three hours later they bring my truck back they had to remove the back blocks said there was no taper to them and it was messing up drive line. I got it back and the vibration is still there. (Now annoyed that only the front is lifted and still vibrating). I have them take the whole lift kit off. Put it back to stock. (Now remind you my truck has been down and I’m missing work for 5 days at this point) And after that Whole ordeal, I was done with the truck since I couldn’t have it how I wanted it and decided to trade it in and they made me a good deal on a 2023 5.3 LT.z71

I know many have gotten this lift installed said it worked out for some reason it did not for me. I’m much happier with the new truck.

Exactly as the title states, RunVSE has released emissions compliant tuning for the LM2 Duramax in the Sierra and Silverado platform (pre-refresh).

I’m looking for the best 6 inch lift for this truck. I talked to a local suspension shop for an install and they spooked me on Rough Country - they stopped installing them due to poor quality and many after install problems.
would very much appreciate any and all input - truck is a brand new build and I want to do it right.

Hey Everybody. I’m about to have my 2014 Silverado AFM deleted with stage 3 cam upgrade, longtube headers, l86 intake, l86 TB, 3200 stall, custom tune. My question- is their other things I must do to go with these upgrades? Truck is 4x4 but will soon be lowered. Driveshaft? New Trans cooler? Bigger oil pump? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
