I did exactly the same thing. There are some things I would do differently next time around. Got my Dakota Vhx gauges wrapped up last night. These gauges are amazing. What a difference over the stock ones

Nice work, I recently picked up a 72 LWB except with coil springs and will have to do pretty much everything you have done. So far I have replaced the door(s) mechanicals and pulled out the factory gas tank. What did you use for a gas tank?

I used the tank from Brothers Trucks and modified it with a sump in it. Works great so far. Good luck on your truck!

Thanks, love your old truck as well. Looked like an amazing ride! Been cold and snowy here so progress has slowed down on truck. Prepping body for paint now. Can’t wait to get her in the booth.
