Sierra 2017 - parking assist not beeping.

Recommended Posts

Hello there,

i have a 2017 SLE Sierra, and i have a "problem" My parking assist is not beeping.

the camera works correctly  on the gmc IntelliLink  and sensors visual alert on the driver information center are working fine  but the sound when something is close to the sensors is not working.

I've already searched the options on the IntelliLink, turned off and then on didnt solve the problem.

a few days ago I got installed  new speakers and amplifier I do not know if it's related to that, tbh i just noticed the lack of sound on the parking assist.

Turn signal, Seat belt and all the chimes sounds are working fine.

Anyone have this issue before? Any ideas how to fix it?

regards

Was it a Bose or Non-Bose system? On my Bose system my first initial install I unplugged some items from the Bose Amp that caused me to lose my seat vibration and beeps. After finding the right wire finally going to the Bose Amp (crankshaft replicating sensor wire) was able to cut and reattach other wires and the beeps and seat vibrations all came back. Good luck!

My truck has the 6.2L and the Bose noise cancelation if you don't disable that noise cancelation my sub would be out of phase and make a bad wobble sound.
