Did they release them early? 2019 pics

Chev website said the 13th, which is today, so it's not 'early'. 

 

It was among the first day press announcements for the Detroit Auto Show  (NAIAS)

(public portion of show starts next weekend, after the week of 'press' announcements/introductions)

I just cant get past the front fender treatment. Looks like a Tundra with "Porkchop sideburns". Hood and grill would be ok if less busy. And then there's the Acura headlights.

Traded my '14 on a '18 Durango RT and was waiting on the new trucks. Maybe they will grow on me?

Can't belive I'm gonna' be without a Chevy for the first time in over 20 years. At least the wheelwells are round now. I miss the looks of my '14 Z71.

The '14's and '15's were the last of the "classic look" on a truck in my opinion. I guess time marches on.
