Did you have prices in front of you, ie base price and option prices?   Thanks!

Definitely one of the affected engines. I'd pass on it and wait for the 22.5 trucks at this point. It'll have a reissue VIN and they'll change it to a 22.

Kinda feel that way, but damn, It's so close.   I'm at least going to have a look at it. Maybe they will offer some other incentives and it will drop the price a few more dollars.  I also feel like this thing was held up somewhere so they could do all the factory corrections before getting it to customer. Fingers crossed.  we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll hold onto my trade, in case of some catastrophic failure!

I ordered a LT Trailboss on 12/27/21. It was accepted by GM a couple of weeks ago and given a production date of 2/21 this week.

I ordered a 5.3 LTZ back in October and was told that GM had canceled my order based on shortage of 5.3 engines. I reordered with a 3.0 diesel on Veterans Day. Had a so-called guaranteed build date of dec 6th. Had been delayed 4 times since then now a build date of 2/21.  In all honesty they will probably have 22.5 on the lots before they finish with all of the LTD orders. If that happens I’ll switch over and get a 22.5. Mine is a repurchase from the leaking rear window that has been replaced several times and still develops leaks

I think you will be getting a 22.5 -- Feb 21 is the new production start date for 22.5 crew cab models.  They won't be building 22 LTDs and 22.5s simultaneously.

So is GM doing rebates if you order a truck kinda like ford does?  I've been out truck shopping but none seem to do more than like 500 off.

I've been in waiting since September. You'll be lucky to find one at MSRP. Basically they offer "incentives". Many dealerships place a "Market Adjustment" on top of the MSRP which you will also be lucky, to chisel them down on that cost, too. There's an article about GMC warning dealers of price gouging, but in this high demand market, you're bound to see some sort of price increase. I've seen dealers with prices on AT4's that have less options, stickered for what I'm waiting for which has all the options.

Any guesses as to how much longer they will be making and shipping ‘22 limited AT4s?
has the backlog of trucks sitting in various lots near the factories been depleted, or will there still be a few more months of new limiteds being shipped out

thanks

I went yesterday and put in a order for a  22 AT4 with the 3.0. Dealer told me 8-10 weeks for delivery, but we shall see. My 21 AT4 took around 6 months to be delivered.

Like new, Pulsar LT for sale, bought direct from manufacturer. Box is included as well, just can't upload a pic of it for some reason.

Had this installed on my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado, took this off when I traded it in. Works great, ~10 months of ownership.

Looking for $400, shipping included, within USA. Venmo/Paypal/Zelle preferred.

What suggestions or advice is available for buying a GMC | Chevy truck? What should I watch out for -- the GOOD and BAD?

I want to come back to the GMC | Chevy family. For over 20 years, we owned a 98 GMC Suburban, putting over 230k miles on it myself, and I LOVED that truck. Other than typical wear and tear -- I never had any problems or issues with my Suburban.

I am looking at 2016-2022 -- GMC | Chevy 1500 | 2500 series, all trims (4x4), except the base models. My budget is around $35k plus'ish; yes, I understand my budget limits what I can get. I am a USAF retired veteran living off a fixed income.

Yes, we tow hitch pull RVs and various trailers, but not as often as before. What are the GOOD, BAD, and UGLY these days on the GMC | Chevy trucks? Is the additional price for either diesel and/or 2500 worth it?

SHORT STORY: so, a few years ago, I bought a 2015 Ram 1500 4x4 EcoDiesel 6cyl w/turbo Lonestar -- well, I have been disappointed with Chrysler | Fiat (FCA). They lied about the EcoDiesel, and after forced recall ECM updates, they sucked all performance and mpg from the truck. Buying a newish GMC | Chevy, I do not want to fall into what happened with my 2015 Ram. When I had my suburban, I never had so many recalls, been lied to, and never had poor performance.

Thanks for any suggestions that you will provide -- Gary (ExFalconFxr)

I recently purchased a 2013 Silverado 1500 LTZ 5.3 crew cab and am averaging 13.6mpg. I understand it's a truck, but I figured it wouldnt be that terrible. I use cruise control and coast as much as possible, but still have the poor mileage. It has 117,000 miles on it. I have 33x12R20LT Trac Grip M/T Thunderer tires and XD series wheels. I feel like I should be getting better gas mileage than this. Suggestions?

If anyone has any experience with my situation please feel free to comment with any tips or your own experiences. I have 3" front 2" rear level on my 2018 silverado. I left everything else stock in the suspension and after about 30k miles I now have completely blown my CV joints. I will be replacing the CV axels, UCA's (recommendations?), and installing a differential drop kit this weekend. Hopefully this helps relieve the angles of the ball joints and CV axel. I've never done a diff drop before so wish me luck. Hopefully it's not too terrible of an install.
