Pictures of leveled trucks towing

Recommended Posts

First post, I’m debating on leveling my truck, but am concerned as to what it will look like when I tow. At most, I would probably tow a 17-18 foot boat or a medium size trailer/ice house. I want to do a 2” level on the front and that’s pretty much it. I’m seeing if anyone has pictures of their leveled trucks towing. Thanks.

Picked up a truck for a buddy of mine (2005 4 door Silverado) towed it about 800 miles. I have a rough country 2.5” on the front end.

That looks like too much tongue weight.  Is there a lot of stuff in the bed also?

Nope, nothing in the bed. Pulled it all the way home with no problems.

Def too much tongue weight ... shoulda rolled the truck on the trailer back a couple inches to get more  weight off tongue ...

here is exactly what you are looking for

2.5 RC level with the 1" rear block on my 15 Z71 towing a 2017 Yamaha Ar195 19' jet boat. When I hook up the boat the truck drops maybe 1/4".  Still looks level, does not squat at all

Lmao I didn’t post this to hear how there is too much tongue weight on a truck I pulled 2 YEARS AGO. The guy asked for a picture and I contributed unlike anyone else.

The picture is still a good reference, but the reason people are pointing out the tongue weight is because there is a lot of squat.  The OP wants to see how much squat there is, and your picture is not a perfect reference, but rather an extreme case.

I dont have any pictures of my current truck towing but my 2000 3/4 ton barley moved with a steel car trailer, race car, and about 1500lbs of fuel, tools, and spares in the back.  Granted its a 3/4 ton, but it was heavily loaded and had a 2" level.

When you say 1” rear block, does that mean you added an additional 1” to the existing 1.25” block, so it’s now a total of 2.25”, or is it simply just a 1” block?

Yup.  With 460 RWHP it was pretty damn fast back in the day, but it's getting hard to keep up with the Jones' these days.
