Too Hot for my Liking

You could simply add another external cooler into the fluid cooling mix. Your fan should be moving enough air With the additional surface area you should be fine. If you really want additional air flow, you can look at this search:

If I add a transmission cooler to the front of the radiator, the engine fan will draw the air through both radiators, but will this have any effect on the temperature of the coolant in the radiator?? We will be moving south in a year or so and into an area that has a lot of hills, so I am trying to get prepared.

My Silverado had both a transmission cooler and external oil cooler. Even though all it tows is a 18'-3" bass boat, so does my Canyon.

Even my Harley has an oil cooler.
