2015 Silverado, BFGoodrich ALL TERRAIN T/A KO2

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I'm deciding on tires & would love any of your thoughts. I have a 2015 Silverado with 2.25" front level & 3" rear blocks (removed the 1.25" blocks). I'm leaning toward the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 for the Snow/ice traction (Please, Let me know if you agree or disagree for any reason). I'm also deciding on the size. I know 275/60R20 32.99" tall will fit. I would like to know if I can go up to 275/65r20 34.07" tall? Both sizes are 10.83" wide on stock 20" rims. Has anyone done this with a similar lift?

I can attest to the BFG A/T's winter abilities. I run them on my truck and Suburban and they do very well in all weather conditions from 50 below to right now in the 30s and slushy here in Alaska.

As for sizing, I have the 275/60R20 on my stock suspension truck, with a 2.25" level they might look a little small. The 65s might have some minor clearance issues but they will look a lot better IMO.

I would love to see what your truck looks like with that lift, I'm thinking of doing either that lift out just the 2in level on my 2018 Silverado. I was looking at those tires as well, really good reviews and I like the aggressive look. Hopefully there are some good responses.

Very nice, so you lost about .5 inch of rack and gained a few inches of lift overall. Sounds just about right, good looking truck, my last one was white.

Yes, I'm glad you see the details, stock wheel well height 36.25" front & 39" rear at 2.75" rake. After the readylift wheel well height 38.5" front & 40.75" rear at 2.25" rake.

Thanks for the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tire info. I am definitely picking them since you use them in Alaska and like them. Were still in the 50's high & snowing a little in Connecticut. Lots of reviews on youtube where people say their fathers have run them for years on their trucks & won't buy anything else.

You won't be disappointed... be prepared to feel the additional weight but that is the only sacrifice I feel like I make. I have 30k on the current set mounted on the Suburban and they're wearing very well... my wife drives our kids to school daily with no issues. I'll gladly give up a little mpg for piece of mind.

agree with dave there is not much a canadian winter can do that these tires wont get you through, fuel mileage does take a hit but still like the k02s alot more than the duratracs

Funny you mentioned DuraTracs, I reviewed them also but ended up leaning toward the BFGoodrich. Thanks for the info.

Nice Truck, Thanks for the info, Nice to see your pic with the 275/60r20 BFGoodrich tires & 2" level. I'll be getting that size also unless I can fit 275/65r20 with no rubbing?

look into the 305/55R20. They will give you a bit of wider tire and BFG tends to me be skinnier than other brands

BFG are the best all terrain tire on the market IMO that will see 55k to 60k mile usage out of them.
