2002 Radio powers

I was thinking of getting a better system for my 2002 (cuz the stock one is weak). I know the radio controls some stuff, has anyone had any adverse effects byt pulling out the stock system?

Only thing you have to worry about is if you have OnStar. If not, no worries - just get a harness for your truck and put that on the radio harness... If you have a place install it for you they'll know what to do. If you're gonna install it yourself, its not hard, and I'm sure many people on these forums will be able to help you out along the way.
