Newest times with a video 5.3 ProCharger

Recommended Posts

Went to Milan Dragway today. It was warm 80 with a DA of 1994-1999 but I ended up running well. Got 3 passes in and all three it hooked fully stalled up.

First pass was 13.31 @ 102.52(1/4), 8.48 @ 80.66(1/8) with a 1.86 60ft. That was left in 4wd for the whole pass. 80 degrees with a DA of 1999.

Second pass was 13.22 @ 102.76(1/4), 8.41 @ 80.99(1/8) with a 1.83 60ft. That was with a 4wd launch and switching to 2wd after the launch. 80 degrees with a DA of 1994.

Final pass was 13.15 @ 103.68(1/4), 8.40 @ 81.87(1/8) with a 1.87 60ft. 4wd launch then switched to 2wd after the launch. 77 degrees with a DA of 1818.

After today I really think with some good air I can see 12's for sure. Video is of my second pass versus a GMC Typhoon that ran 13.30 @ 101. Not sure when my next trip will be to the track but I am very happy with how the truck is running.

Nice.  You'll have to beat a 13.08.  That's the quickest my intake and tune only TBSS went.  I'd like to see what my new truck will run, but I'll wait till fall.  That 1990ish DA will kill my na motor times.   I'd be happy with anything in the 13's with this oversized tired slightly lifted weak diablo std tuned truck.

Hopefully I'll see 12s at some point without any additional mods. That is the goal anyhow. Yeah high DAs suck :(

I don't think 12's will be a problem for you especially with some good weather.

That's not much of a DA.  We see 7000+ in the winter time up here.  A hot summer day can be over 11000.  Up here, I need 4 pounds of boost to equal na at sea level.

Yeah we lose our minds around here if we see a DA in the two thousands. Guess we are spoiled around here compared to Colorado.

Yeah, altitude sucks for making power.  I had my Camaro down in Phoenix once and it ran quicker on street tires than I can get out of it on drag radials up here.  I was pedaling it in first and second gear down there.  I think if I'd had DRs, I would have been a full second faster.

I do like you build.  Maybe someday I'll get a blower for my 15.

Thank! Having a supercharger is a lot of fun. I have a feeling I will now always want a vehicle with boost lol.

Very nice. I'm loving my truck with the ProCharger. Everything seems to be holding up great so far :)

Another trip! Made three passes.

First 13.39 @ 102.62 1.96 60ft. 82 degrees DA 2500 spun hard which you can tell by the 60ft.

Second 13.32 @ 102.44 1.90 60ft. 80 degrees DA 2100 spun but not as bad.

Final 13.18 @ 103.31, 8.39 @ 81.30(new best in the 1/8th) 1.85 60ft. 74 degrees DA 1875 spun a little again.

Another good trip and first passes at this track with the new setup. First pass I ended up getting lined up with a 2016 F150 5.0 with a Whipple at 5psi other than that stock. The pass against me he left it in manual and didn't realize it till it was to late. He had a decent 60ft. for that pass against me. His best time was a 13.40 and his last pass of the night he ran a 13.71

Here are some passes from last Friday at Osceola as well I forgot to post. Another warm day but good low 13 passes. 13.27 @ 101.79, 13.20 @ 102.67, and  13.20 @ 102.62 with 1.83-1.84 60ft times with temps 79-83 degrees, and DA of 2465-2787. I'm very happy with the truck!
