2001 Suburban 2500 fuel pump question

Hello,
Can anyone tell me if a 2002 main fuel pump would fit in a 2001 Suburban 2500 in the main fuel tank (forward)?

I've got a long reason for asking, but in short --the 2001 fuel pump offerings all appear to have a plastic top with plastic 'quick disconnect' lines ---and the 2002 appear to have a metal top with metal quick disconnect fuel lines.

You should use the eBay part compatibility tool. Find the part on eBay, and scroll down to the compatibility chart. Plug in your vehicle info, and it will tell you if it will fit or not. Or, find the OEM part numbers for both pumps, and ask a part store to see if they interchange.
